Kids Yoga

Kids Yoga classes are run in series of 4 weeks and 8 weeks.

Our Mission at Just a Piece of Life is to provide tools to the future of today, for a meaningful and purposeful, radiant and vibrant life, devoid of stress. Breathing exercises and deep relaxation with visualization are an integral part of each class.

Yoga poses Build Balance, Strength, Co-ordination AND Flexibility. Yoga practice boosts overall health, self-image and self confidence!

Kids can regulate their moods better, and feel in control once they're able to take a pause, distance, breathe, and re-assess the situation!

Our class rules reward listening in class, where winning and losing is for fools, doing your best is TOO COOL for School!

Mindfulness is inbuilt throughout class, within games, songs and poses. Your child will learn to focus on 1 task by engaging with almost all 5 senses :) Concentration is a skill taught using meditation techniques, and guided visualization. This helps your child learn how to sit still (or lay still) in one place, listen and focus, lengthening his attention span.

Arts/Crafts time teaches us to create something out of 'nothing'! This builds our Gratitude and Santosha :)
